ContriPay Contractor Terms

Nebulous Enterprises Pty Ltd ABN 13 634 749 509 trading as ContriPay
Effective date: 1 November 2026

1. About these terms

ContriPay is a tool run by Nebulous Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 13 634 749 509). It helps employers pay superannuation and issue payment documents for contractors. These terms apply when you complete the ContriPay onboarding form and tick to accept them. They are separate from the privacy collection notice and from any RCTI agreement you accept with an employer.

2. What ContriPay does for you

An employer invites you and you complete the form once. When the employer logs a job, ContriPay works out super at 12%, or more if the employer chooses. It posts a bill to the employer's accounting software and emails you a document. It then submits the contribution to your nominated fund through a clearing house. ContriPay never holds your money and never redirects a contribution. We do not charge you a fee.

3. The employer is responsible

The employer decides what to pay you and pays you. The employer is responsible for the super contribution and for the document it issues. ContriPay is not a party to your arrangement with the employer. That includes any RCTI agreement. We provide the means to accept it, but the agreement is between you and the employer.

4. Your details

You must give correct details and keep them up to date. You can view and update them by signing in with an emailed link, or by emailing hello@contripay.com.au. Wrong details can cause a contribution to be rejected or delayed. If a fund rejects a contribution because of your details, we will email you the reason and ask you to update them. We do not guarantee that you will receive that email.

5. Your ABN and GST status

Keep your ABN and GST registration status correct, and tell the employer if your GST registration changes. If you have no ABN, the reason you give us for not quoting one must be true.

6. The documents you receive

You receive a recipient created tax invoice (RCTI) only if you have an ABN, you are registered for GST, you have accepted the RCTI agreement with that employer, and the employer is also registered for GST. Otherwise you receive a Payment Advice, which is not a tax invoice. We email both as a PDF and keep them in your portal for download.

7. Tax

ContriPay does not withhold tax, remit tax or produce payment summaries. The employer decides what it must withhold. For information only, a payer may need to withhold tax from a payment if the person being paid has not quoted an ABN.

8. Our responsibility to you

We provide ContriPay as a tool and will take reasonable care of your information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable to you for a contribution that is late, rejected or not made, for loss caused by incorrect details, or for events outside our control, including failures of the clearing house, your fund or the employer's accounting software. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under law that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

The contractor collection notice and the privacy policy explain how we collect, use and disclose your personal information. Giving your tax file number is optional.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email you about a material change and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. We record the version you accepted and when. If you do not accept a new version, you can ask us to close your record.

11. Closing your record

You can ask us to delete your record at any time by emailing hello@contripay.com.au. We will delete or de-identify your information within 30 days, except for records we must or need to keep, as the privacy policy explains. After that, employers cannot submit contributions for you.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Questions: hello@contripay.com.au.
